The Hotel Playa de Vigo, also known as Hotel Playa Samil Vigo, opened its doors in the 1995 and since then, the group of people who are working in this familiar business, aimed our service in the quality of attention, the comfort and the total satisfaction of our guests, trying to achieve their stay with us to be the nicest as possible and  the customer to feel as at home .
The Hotel Playa de Vigo is situated opposite to Samil Beach, a large sandbank with pine trees and a nearly 2 km length, shell-shaped and with a white and fine sand .

It is equipped with swimming-pools for children, slides, playgrounds, paths, benches, picnic spots with tables under the shade of trees, circuit for modelling cars, skating rink, tracks for skateboarding and for bike pirouettes, sport facilities including a football field, twelve tennis courts, three paddle courts.
Besides, it has all kind of services: A Red Cross stand, footbridges and accesses for  handicapped people, showers, changing rooms, public toilets, telephones, loudspeakers, fountains, restaurants, ice-cream parlour, hamburger restaurants, discotheques, bowling, kiosks, flea market, free parking, taxis and numerous bus routes arriving to it.

It is probably one of the best equipped urban beaches in Europe.  

SAMIL BEACH IS MUCH MORE THAN A BEACH; IT IS AN ENJOYMENT PLACE FOR EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR FOR "THE GREAT VIGO" AND ITS VISITORS WITH A SPECTACULAR SUNSET AND WITH "CÍES ISLANDS" IN THE BACKGROUND .
